Maintenance Mechanic

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Work consists of performing maintenance work for all departments, servicing, dismantling, diagnosing trouble, repairing and maintaining all machinery and equipment in a state of good repair using schematics, blueprints or verbal instructions.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Assemble, install, repair and adjust parts and equipment in all departments.
2. Locate trouble, diagnose the causes and perform corrective measures using schematics or blueprints.
3. May be required to guide and instruct other classes in the performance of various maintenance duties.
4. May be required to perform maintenance duties of a very technical nature.
5. Lay out, set up and perform all acetylene and electric welding operations as required.
6. May be required to perform engine lathe and drill press operations.
7. Follow up on the Preventative Maintenance Program as directed by the supervisor.
8. Perform other job related duties as directed by supervisor.
9. Maintenance equipment and working area in a clean and orderly condition.
10. Requires a minimum amount of supervision.

1. Must be able to perform all specific duties on job description (and)
2. Three (3) years maintenance experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. (or)
3. Two (2) years maintenance experience in a heavy industrial facility and one (1) year training from a certified technical
institution in applicable fields.

EQUIPMENT FURNISHED BY COMPANY:
Safety glasses with side shields, steel toed safety shoes. Other safety equipment as required.

PAY RANGE: $17.25 - $22.13
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
