Injection Maintenance Mold Technician
Job ResponsibilitiesPOSITION
Summary:
This role has responsibility for oversight over all injection mold maintenance within the site.
This includes troubleshooting, maintenance, rebuild and record keeping.
Responsibilities:
Performs mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, adjustments/repairs and rebuilds on injection molds.
Monitors performance of molds and plans preventive and rebuild maintenance accordingly.
Documents all work performed and parts usage in SAP.
Observes all local and Company safety policies and procedures as well as housekeeping requirements.
Works in a safe and efficient manner at all times, monitors team members for safe practices and mentors best methods.
Responsible for the completion of all required training and technical criteria with in a defined time period.
Follows all company policies and work rules including but not limited to 5S (housekeeping), GMP, Lean Manufacturingpractices and BOS quality system.
Participates in the development and implementation of department improvements.
Assist Injection maintenance personnel as needed.
Maintains various daily reports in SAP as required.
Functions effectively within a team environment.
Ability and willingness to adhere to the attendance and punctuality policy.
Attend team meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
Reports any unsafe conditions to a leader.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience.
Machinist mentality.
Experience in working with close tolerances.
Technically oriented and knowledgeable in manufacturing systems.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Proficient in computer programs.
Husky HyPET experience - operation and maintenance.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Prefer two year degree in relevant major (such as engineering, packaging, or plastics) and/or 2
years of relevantmanufacturing experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach withhands and arms, and talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to push or pull bins and carts, stand, walk, and stoop,kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
The employee must regularly liftand/or move up to fifteen pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more thanone hundred pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheralvision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
