Production Supervisor

The Supervisor, Production leads the day-to-day direction of production operators in the operation of an
assigned area ensuring the compliance of safety, quality, and production requirements among team members. This role will
participate in numerous managerial functions, including, but not limited to, leading informative meetings, creating work schedules,
coach, teach, and development of employees and participating in performance improvement and disciplinary issues.
KEY TASKS
Responsible for providing appropriate orientation to new employees using the Area Training Check Sheet as a guide. Ensure new employees are given the information, technology, and reference materials necessary to perform their jobs
Coach, teach, and develop employees on a daily basis
Assign daily work to employees. Responsible for explaining how the duties are to be completed and how the performance of the duties will be measured. Complete area line-ups and have available on server for review
Responsible for evaluating and documenting employee's performance. Regular ongoing discussions with employees is expected. At a minimum, Supervisors are expected to complete an annual review for each employees assigned to him/her
Works with HR to ensure hourly reviews and corrective actions are completed on time and are firm, fair, and consistent
Adheres to the policies set forth by the Company. Ensures employees are consistently following policies. Supervisors are responsible for holding employees accountable
Responsible for daily editing and approval of GLDS (time clock and time off manager)
Responsible for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on shift
Responsible for the upkeep of employee training records and the Plant Training Matrix in accordance with TS16949 expectations
Responsible for housekeeping on the shift and being tour ready at all times
Ensures that the shift is following standard work
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred
Years of
Experience:
5 Years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license required for business travel
Regular and predictable attendance required
Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities
Overtime may be required as work load or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays
KEY COMPETENCIES
Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis
Excellent Analytical Skills

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
