Pharmacy Clinical Manager
DEFINITION:
A skilled practitioner, responsible for assigned administrative and departmental activities for The Fremont-Rideout Health Group pharmaceutical services and for providing prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals needed for adequate patient care according to professional standards and practices.
This practitioner collaborates with physicians and other members of the health care team and is responsible for provision of quality, timely and appropriate care to patients of any age through patient assessment and treatment; through implementation of utilization review and clinical education programs.
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Director of Pharmacy and Assistant Director of Pharmacy RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Pharmacy Dept.
Personnel EXEMPTION STATUS:
Exempt KNOWLEDGE:
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.
SKILLS:
Good organizational skills, exercise good judgment and communicate effectively
Experience:
Knowledge of hospital clinical pharmacy practice, 3 years of work experience required.
LICENSE:
Valid CA Pharmacist License.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
