Business Systems Analyst II
Position
Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst II role is meant to support the business operations as projects are defined and executed. The role is required to be experienced in basic and advanced business analysis techniques.The Business Systems Analyst will be a part of the Service Delivery team that also houses Project Management. Within this role he/she will ensure that clear and concise designs are presented and evaluated for completeness to the software engineering team.
Position Duties:
Responsible for defining multiple IT projects
Gather and document requirements
Analyzing the business processes for inefficiencies and recommend optimization.
Making recommendations for solutions or improvements that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
Participate in Agile Standup meetings and sprint planning meetings
Acting as primary liaison between business stakeholders, such as management, customers or end users, and the software development team
Analyzing and communicating stakeholder needs by translating business requirements into software requirements.
Heavily involved with setting up recurring status meetings with the business, fielding questions from the business, as well as handling issues that arise from the business
Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues
Gathering and updating project materials, forecasting, project documentation, business flows
Utilizing organizational resources appropriately
Management of key projects to ensure successful completion
Managing cross-functional interdependencies
Improving processes to optimize performance and value over time
Providing risk management and issue/problem resolution as required

Atlassian JIRA
Effective Story Writing
Use Case Modeling
Microsoft Project
Microsoft Sharepoint
Microsoft Visio
Experience with end users and client users
Experience Interfacing with senior product managers
Ability to manage multiple projects at a single time
Work with end users through the design phase to ensure adherence to business requirements
Mobile applications (Tablet, Phone)
Knowledge of Agile development methodology
Experience consolidating functionality in various systems a plus
Financial Services Experience is required
Some / limited knowledge of:
Microsoft development platforms
Project Management and Quality Assurance Techniques
Ability to:
Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
Excellent oral and written communication and problem solving skills
Possess a positive attitude
Ability to think outside the box
Work in a team, or independently on multiple projectsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
