Our Client in North Orange County is developing a team of Developers to expand their growing department near Placentia, CA. $55K to $60K yr. DOE.
This is a Full Time position therefore those authorized to work in the US without sponsorship will be considered. Client is not able to sponsor at this time.
Infrastructure Engineer/Windows System Administrator Level 1
Serve as primary escalation to Help Desk Request and Break Fix tickets for routine issues on enterprise systems/Infrastructure/applications
Perform on-boarding of infrastructure systems following pre define standards and checklists
Assist on all enterprise applications and infrastructure upgrades
Perform primary application administration for enterprise Anti-Virus, Wireless, and web content filtering solutions.
Assist others with enterprise application and infrastructure upgrades.
Perform file backup and restores as requested.
Assist Telecom Administrator with routine system maintenance (telephones and Audio Video equipment)
Perform bi weekly and/or monthly regular patch deployments
Build, test, deploy Active Directory Group Policies
Printer and print server administration Skills
Min 5 years working knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems
Min 1 year working experience with enterprise applications/infrastructure/servers/Windows Servers
Preferred: Linux and SharePoint experience

Summary:
Under direct supervision, assists in designing, developing, testing, debugging and implementing hardware/software systems components, tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of systems. Assists in modifying existing hardware/software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Manager/Director
CORE DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Analyzes, develops and implements routine solutions, modifications, or enhancements to existing hardware/software applications or a suite of integrated systems for the company and/or a particular business unit. Assists in identifying new hardware/software technologies to fit specialized business needs and configurations.
Assists in the development, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation of hardware/software systems components, tools, and utilities including databases, middleware, and personal computer systems.
Assists in all aspects of systems hardware/software engineering projects, which involve multiple disciplines and platforms and impact multiple business units or perhaps the entire company.
Assists in the configuration management, technical vendor management, problem mitigation, change management, and critical situation management to basic systems as well as their multiple platforms and software applications.
Assists in the configuration/capacity planning, software product evaluation, systems performance analysis and optimizations for software/hardware systems.
Provides consultation and technical solutions to management on routine systems integration, compatibility, expandability, ease of use, and multiple platform issues as they relate to hardware/software.
Conducts routine software/hardware product evaluations; develops and recommends technical solutions to management. Assists in the assessments of risk, cost, and return on investment scenarios and impact as well as potential compatibility issues with existing hardware/software.
Installs routine hardware/software products by analyzing the current system environment, using technical tools and utilities, performing product customization, and developing implementation and verification procedures to ensure successful installation of systems hardware/software.
Assists in the development, testing, selection and implementation of new technical solutions, products and servers as they relate to hardware/software operating systems and applications.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge: Proven knowledge in operating and personal computer systems. Must have an understanding in multiple hardware and software platforms, products and applications. Proven knowledge in technical diagnostic and analytical tools.
Certification/Designation: Certification designation in Project Management, or specific technology is preferred.
Experience: One year of technical software and hardware development, installation, or operational support.
Skills/Competencies: Must have the ability to analyze systems that have multiple platforms widespread impact and call for interpretation and coordination of technical and complex fields of information. Must have strong analytical and decision-making skills. Must possess interpersonal savvy. Must be able to perform financial and risk analysis on operating systems and platforms. Must have strong process management skills. Must possess negotiation skills. Must have strong oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel, management and vendors.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
