Machine Set Up Technician

Essential Job Functions:
Review scheduled lines daily
Start machine line per schedule for next shift as required
Follow job set up QSWC3004
Perform layered audit to required schedule
Respond and react to Quality Control and Team Members concerns relating to dimensional issues, surfaces finish, gauging, Poke-Yoke, etc.
Perform machine offsets and tool changes
Evaluate tool samples or test and report to Department Manager and Tool Designer
Review work holding for proper function and reliability
Perform continuous improvement in the following areas: safety, OEE, rework reduction, team building
Communicate changes in process (deviations), customer complaints, TANs etc.
Work with other Set Up Technicians and Group Leaders on other shifts to ensure smooth transition from one shift to another
Attend meeting before each shift (5 minutes max) to assure each cell has a successful run
React to downtime by analyzing root cause and correct when able and/or report to Department Manager
EPH - react to low output and assist Team Members by retraining or other means to achieve the required output
Continuous improvement - observe and identify waste in the process, solicit and be responsive to Team Members thoughts on waste and assist in identifying improvements, promote and communicate all improvements to the Department Manager via Quick Hits, assist in implementation of all improvements
Safety - promote a safe work environment for all Team Members and report improvements, areas of concern, and incidents to the Department Manager
Promote and maintain 5-S standards
Requirements:
Education and
Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
