Purpose and Description:
Remote is ok but candidate needs to be in Walnut Creek or Pasadena Area for training and meetings as needed.
Analytics Consultant
The resource will be part of a team that will perform detailed analysis of security scans to determine required remediation efforts on Desktops/Endpoints
The desired skill set is described below
Microsoft OS patching and application Updating
Ability to perform in-depth investigations based on Vendor documentation and other published sources
Familiarity with MS OS file and registry, to validate against MacAfee scan findings
Ability to map solutions to multiple findings
MacAfee Scan endpoint reports - Systems management tools
Perform analysis on McScan/Foundstone scans
Perform research using Systems management tools (BigFix, Tanium, etc.)
Perform SQL queries
Ability to articulate findings, risks and solutions to peers and management team
Org understanding and aptitude
Ability to Interface with multiple levels of KP stakeholders
Ability to utilize multiple sources of record to locate contacts
Host and attend meeting and presentations for fact finding and stakeholder buy-in
Patch and Software Distribution planning and implementation
Project planning
Impact analysis to business, IT and infrastructure
Distribution capabilities
Change Management
Communication to stakeholders
Working knowledge of tools
Advanced Excel formulas and Filtering
Access Database administration
Remedy
Symantec and NeXDGen GUI - a PLUS
BigFix and/or Tanium understanding - a PLUS
