Description:
Softworld, Inc. client is looking for a Project Manager who will assess customer requirements and translate them into project plans and/or statements of work and reports results. This position involves collaborating with customers, vendors and team to complete deliverables and processes. This position will receive general direction and oversight by the manager or senior project staff. This team project manages voice and data networking technologies for our Data Centers and remote office locations.
Job
Responsibilities:
Develops project plans and generates work requests.
Monitors work for completion by operational units.
Acts as the first escalation point for missed SLA's and subsequent escalation to management.
Manages the tools and develops the requirements for all metrics and reporting of service delivery.
Coordinates with system owners to implement requirements into existing and new toolsets.
Communicates with internal and external customers, vendors, and other teams as appropriate for custom project/service deliverables.
Manage a team of internal and external resources to coordinate delivery and installation of all network components, consisting of, but not limited to, voice network, data network, circuit delivery, wireless, audio visual, and print capability.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years related Project Management experience.
Practical knowledge of and experience applying project management methodologies to projects or other assignments.
Negotiation, facilitation, vendor management and consensus building skills. Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of voice and data networking technologies
