Position: SHEA / EHS Coordinator
Location: Lawrence, MA
Travel: 5%
GENERAL
Summary:
Coordinate and manage all Safety, Health and Environmental Programs at Lawrence, MA Facility.
Position Requirements
Successful candidates will have:
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene (related field) or EHS/CSP certification with 5 7 years of safety experience.
Minimum 5-7 years experience in an industrial manufacturing setting with a strong safety and environmental background is required;
Must have 5 7 years with managing plant Safety, Health and Environmental activities.
Experience with Form R and Tier 2 reporting is required
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of organization
CSP or EHS certification is plus
Accountabilities
Manage Occupational Safety and Health Act Requirements Including but not limited to:
o OSHA 300 Log
o Safety and Health Plans
o Emergency Evacuation Plan
o Fire Extinguisher Inspections
o Industrial Hygiene Surveys
o Hazard Communication Program
Coordinate and direct all safety, health and environmental affairs for the Lawrence Facility including but not limited to:
o All Environmental Permits
o Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures
o Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act
o New Employee Safety Orientation
o Flowserve SHEA Requirements including training, reporting and metric development
o Workers Compensation
o Safety Committee
o Emergency Response Team
o First aid and safety supplies
o Employee testing (Respirators, Drug Screens, etc)
Conduct accident investigations and corrective actions, self-audits and internal inspections.
Represent the Company with regulatory agencies as well as develop and submit required regulatory reports.
Develop innovative strategies and programs for improving safety awareness and overall safety culture.
Leading the coordination and administration of the facilitys safety, health, and environmental program;
Working with site management and departments to maintain a safe work environment;
Ensuring OSHA and EPA compliance;
Knowledge of federal and state regulations and procedures;
Promoting the companys safety policy and safety rules at the site level;
Experience conducting accident investigations and implementing corrective actions;
Promoting safety consciousness;
Preparing and maintaining all reports relating to safety and environmental compliance;
Facilitating Central Safety Committee and meetings as needed;
Managing work-related injuries, illnesses, and incidents in coordination with company and state regulations;
Maintaining site MSDS information and Lock out Tag out Program.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
