Job Description:
The Technical Specialist maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by providing hands-on (and remote, when appropriate) resolution to customer technical issues and providing warehouse support for IT infrastructure. The resolution of customer issues is expected to be delivered in a timely manner, adhering to all SLA (Service Level Agreement) guidelines

Responsibilities:
Record, document and monitor all technical activities in the current ticketing management system as prescribed and/or directed by the manager
Maintain/increase technical skill set as it relates to the hardware and software used in the environment
Support assigned business initiatives and projects as requested and in accordance with established timeframes
Provide desktop technical support as described above (as needed)
Provide technical support for specialized warehouse and distribution center equipment and printers, including (but not limited to) maintaining servers and adding/configuring software on servers
Perform routine maintenance, back-ups, security patches and updates on servers
Provide desktop technical support as described above (as needed)
Provide front-line customer service and technical support for all internal clients

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
