Senior Digital Design Engineer
Job Scope:
Panavision is looking for a Senior Design Engineer.
Key
Responsibilities:
Responsible for specification of components, FPGA (Xilinx VHDL) programming, and C programming for microcontrollers.
Develops and recommends methods, tools and designs for firmware development process improvement.
Participates in product and firmware development activities, including initial requirements, design, coding and validation plans.
Additional duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience Required:
Applicant should have 3 years experience in FPGA programming with specific knowledge of Xilinx devices in the Virtex 6 - Virtex 7 series.
BSEE or equivalent
Ability to develop designs from concept to final production.
A strong grasp of SMPTE HDSDI video standards desired.
Experience in memory, microprocessor, ADC, DAC and other analog circuit design desired.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of image processing techniques and algorithms desired.
Must be self motivated.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
