Job Description Summary
Product Engineers design new products, develop components for application to new or existing products, and cost reduce existing designs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design and develop new products and components.
Analyze the requirements, capabilities and performance of new and existing products.
Communicate orally and in writing with personnel at all levels regarding the technical details of new and existing products. Such communication may include, but is not limited to:
Analysis of products, assemblies and components Drawings and sketches that conform to drawing standards. Memorandums regarding Product Engineering issues Monthly schedules Product specifications Monthly risk assessments Test procedures Test plans Research potential new product developments, new processes.
Design, develop, and lead tests to qualify new products and to support changes to existing products. Lead the activities of a product development team. Use CAD programs to develop concepts and designs.
Procure components and services for development of prototype hardware.
Assemble and evaluate the performance of prototype hardware. Review and act on supplier non-conformance's.
Be instrumental in cost avoidance and cost reduction activities. Process customer and in-house engineering sample requests.
Assist with the on-going short term reliability test program. Provide the Engineering Manager with the technical information for the monthly Engineering Report.

Education and Experience
B.A./B.S. Engineering degree from a 4-year college or university and 5 years minimum work experience in a related field and/or equivalent combination or education and experience.
Experience in drive train design and development strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
