The largest full-line wholesale produce house in the southeast is currently seeking CDL-A Company Drivers out of the Forest Park, GA area. Using their own fleet of trucks, this company services retail, foodservice and wholesale customers throughout 11 southeastern states. Business is booming, and this position can offer you plenty of work hours. Overview
Drivers deliver produce to grocery warehouses, stores, and some mom & pop stores throughout the southeast region of the U.S. Dedicated customers. Freight is mostly no touch, palletized; drivers may have to break down pallets and use pallet jack and/or hand/hand truck to unload if needed. Average 1-7 stops per load. Dispatched Sunday-Friday. Drivers call in daily for start time. Can have 1 layover per trip; 3-5 trips per week average, Company assigns dedicated trucks.
Compensation
$0.41-$0.52 per mile to start depending on miles and stops
$850-$1,100 per week average 1st year
$1,000-$1,300 per week average after 1st year
