Position: Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving
Shift: 8:00am - 5pm (1 hour lunch)
Rate: $12-$13 per hour depending on experience

Summary
The Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse worker is responsible for the timely and accurate shipment of all
customer orders. The SRW is responsible for the receipt and verification of all vendor shipments. The
SRW is responsible for the warehouse organization and for the storage of the inventory and other
products within the warehouse. He oversees the safety and security practices within the warehouse.
Responsibilities
o?Timely and accurate shipment of customer orders - Upon receipt of a picking sheet, the SRW
will pull the product for the order. At that point, the SRW will enter the order into Shipping Data
Entry and generate the appropriate shipping paperwork required: packing list, BOL and labels
necessary for the shipment. The SRW will double check all order to ensure that they are
accurately filled.
o?Schedule carriers - The SRW will schedule the freight pick up with the freight company
identified for the order. The SRW will provide freight rates via Simplified as required.?o?UPS orders - The SRW will package UPS orders and process/record UPS documentation as
required. The SRW will provide the sales staff with UPS rates quickly for order processing.
o?Receipt of incoming vendor shipments - The SRW will be responsible for the receipt and
accurate counting and recording of all vendor shipments. The SRW will thoroughly review the
contents all of shipments, checking for count, accurate item number and damage. The signed
vendor packing slip, along with the completed receiver, and all other supporting documentation,
will be collected and given to Purchasing the same day as received. All incoming orders will be
documented on the Incoming Log.
o?Inventory management - The SRW will work with Purchasing to identify inventory locations for
all products. Bin locations shall be assigned to all items and inventory will be maintained in the
assigned location. An area will be designated for overflow and will be moved to the assigned
location when room is available.
o?Small/high dollar inventory - The SRW will maintain a secure location for small and higher dollar
items, such as instruments, small machines.
o?Warehouse cleanliness - The central warehouse area will be swept and kept clean on a daily
basis. The SRW's desk area shall be neat and organized.
o?Customer interface - The SRW will interface regularly with customers on pick up orders, rentals
and product returns. The SRW will be polite and courteous to all customers, projecting a
positive company image. The SRW will pass along any pertinent customer information to the
General Manager.
o?Maintenance - The SRW will oversee the planned maintenance of machinery and equipment in
the warehouse.
o?Temporary staff - Occasionally it will be necessary to utilize personnel from sister companies or
from temporary agencies. The SRW will coordinate personnel and will keep accurate timesheets
for processing.

o?Inventory counts - Twice a year, the SRW will participate in inventory. All items will be counted
and discrepant counts will be recounted as required. The SRW will also take impromptu
inventory counts as required.
o?Maintain and enforce a positive environment of teamwork and cooperation through-out the
workforce
o?Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
Ability to operate a tow motor
Basic computer skills
Ability to prioritize and manage time
Available to perform duties outside of normal work hours as required
Regular and punctual attendance

reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel,
crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly
lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift
and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full time, hourly position and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00am -
5pm with one hour for lunch.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
