Assurance Analyst
Now hiring a Assurance Analyst in the Saline, MI area! Trillium Technical currently has an opportunity available for a Assurance Analyst in the Saline, MI area. The Assurance Analyst works with the project manager and users to analyze design , implement and support business applications and systems. Develops detailed functional systems and program specifications using SDM (E.G. develop and execute test cases, use cases and documentation). Ensure built in quality with ownership. Strong Verbal and written communication, knowledge of cross-functional. The Analyst assists in the development and documentation of testing strategies, test cases, and test plans. The QA Analyst also performs Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing (E2E), and /or Regression Testing, and records test results for each test case and release per approved plans. o 10 years previous experience
o Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Rational SDLC models, Kanban knowledge beneficial
o Experience with various testing and SDLC software suites
o Experience with Behavior Driven Design Testing Tools
o Experience with Gherkin, Behat, Mink & Selenium
o Experience with PHP, Java or Ruby
o Experience with Load Runner
o Experience with Information Security projects preferred
o Experience with Linux Command Line tools
o Bachelor's or Master's degree required, majors in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Security/Assurance strongly preferred.
o Writing automated tests for internal and external facing systems and applications.
o Create and monitor Performance and Load Tests for all servers and applications.
o Develop, document, and execute test strategies/plans; debug and troubleshoot; collaborate with Developers on proper and testing procedures
o Coordinates with Program Managers, Senior Developers, and Security Architects to define and complete testing specifications and release requirements
o Prepares testing estimates for project and non-project releases
o Coordinate with business and technical customers to schedule and execute UAT testing
o Coordinate of defect tracking, defect triage activities, and issue resolution for all assigned projects.
o Support all quality initiatives that are implemented during each phase of the system development life cycle
o Initiate risk management and escalation when necessary
o Self-motivated, drives issues to closure.
o Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a team in an ever-changing environment.
o Passion for innovation and quality
o Strong interpersonal skills is a must as this person will be responsible for communicating with technical and business professionals.
