Summary:
To clean, sanitize, assemble and set-up production equipment and processing lines for Rhino Foods manufacturing lines.
Job Duties &
Responsibilities:
Disassemble, clean, sanitize, re-assemble, inspect and test production equipment according to the Master Sanitation Schedule and sanitation procedures that support the daily production schedule.
Learn and follow established standards and procedures at all times:
?Set-up maps, checklist, sanitation procedures, etc.
?Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) including all personal hygiene, gloving, and uniform shoe processes, etc.
Other standards and or procedures which may be introduced.
Participate in the constant improvement of the sanitation program system and methods.
Learn and follow current health sanitation safety procedures.
Includes procedures for use of chemicals, hot water, heavy equipment, equipment assembly, lockout tagout program, etc.
Learn and use chemical hazard safety training course contents, including:

, and the right-to-know program.
Keep accurate, current records.
Participate and assist in environmental testing program.
Identify and communicate potential contamination risk problem sites.
Assist in the development and implementation of a system to maintain, organize and protect equipment.
Based on the production schedule and PRODUCTION LINE FLOOR MAPS:
organize, inspect, construct, fine tune, and test the equipment lines for the next shift to insure timely line start-up and operation.
Participate in problem solving any sanitation set-up issues that may occur.
Assist Team Leader in leading team toward daily goals; fill in during breaks, ensure set-up is done correctly and on time, etc.
Demonstrate knowledge of the whole line process.
Exercise sound judgment.
Check station to ensure it is properly setup for effective production.
Assist in bringing into Production the raw ingredients and packaging material required for production.
Ensure that the correct items are brought in.
Promptly communicate to supervisor non-routine problems, recommending solutions and implementing them as appropriate.
Provide sanitation process orientation and training to co-workers and production personnel according to sanitation procedures.
Operate commercial dishwasher, including loading and unloading dishes and running the machine properly.
Specifically Dish room; Tray cleaning; Dishwasher Operating; Bucket Cleaning; Cheesecake Tins; Dishwasher cleaning utensils.
Learn proper function and operation of equipment and report any equipment malfunctions to Supervisor or Team Leader with corresponding documentation.
Wash bowls, utensils, and various types of equipment used in manufacturing food products that cannot be put in the dishwasher.
Clean and organize production work areas and dish area.
Organize utensil and dish shelves.
Keep production supplied with properly cleaned and sanitized dishes and equipment.
Take out Production Room trash.
Deliver clean, recyclable materials to proper recycling bins.
Keep records and complete reports, including sanitation checklist.
Communicate with co-workers and others respectfully and proactively to ensure we meet sanitation goals as a team; give, take and act on feedback.
Participate in company, production, sanitation, etc.
meetings; participate in training program, classes, etc.
Demonstrate willingness to learn Level C & D skills.
May perform the duties of a Production Worker.
Assist in the closing of the building according to safety and security procedures.
May perform a variety of tasks which directly contribute to Rhino Foods but may not directly relate to the primary duties and responsibilities of the job (e.

United Way Committee, Wellness Committee, etc.
) Supervision Received:
Direct supervision is received from the Sanitation Program Supervisor.
Assignments, schedule, daily goals, etc.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED with one to two years relevant work experience.

Mechanical ability to assemble, disassemble, test, operate, fine-tune and monitor production equipment according to verbal and written procedures.
