Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

One of the top interior designers in the country is looking for a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to help with just about everything. You will work with the Corporate Controller, Owner, Creative Team and outside CPA firm. You will handle entering purchase orders, reimbursable expenses, credit card expenses, invoicing, A/P, A/R, data entry and special projects.
As quickly as you are handling some accounting issue, you will have to change directions and handle administrative needs - whether it is checking on a flight or reservation, or sending out a proposal, you must be able to refocus quickly and move onto the next task.
This office is made up of some of the most creative people in the design industry. It is fun, chaotic, ever changing, and as busy as an office can get. We are looking for that someone special who will love this atmosphere and thrive in it. We want 2 - 5 years minimum experience in a similar role. A college degree in accounting is also preferred. Experience with QuickBooks or a design-specific software is helpful.

Salary is dependent on on experience - can range from $40 - $70,000 depending on your experience. We also offer full benefits, great bonus, and perks.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
