POSITION DESCRIPTION

OCCUPATIONAL
Summary:
SUPERINTENDENT

Plan and manage all work operations to insure that production schedules and quality standards are met at customer locations. Interface with management to insure the availability of adequate manpower, materials, and equipment. Insure proper implementation of company policies and procedures as well as policies and procedures in place at customer job site. Maintain related documentation and paperwork.

WORK PERFORMED:

Review job schedules with management and direct work operations insuring that manpower, materials and equipment are available to meet the production schedules.
Monitor work performance of crew for accuracy and completeness to insure compliance with customer needs and our established company procedures and quality standards. Appropriately interface with customer personnel to insure a smooth work environment.

Responsible to maintain a wide variety of paperwork and documentation in support of contract obligations as well as definition of any services performed outside agreed Scope of Work. Insure that work schedules, personnel, and safety requirement records are properly maintained and that said documentation is accurate and complete.

Develop and access measures designed to improve production methods, equipment performance and timely completion of work assignments. Recommend to executive management changes in working conditions or modifications in tools or equipment. Responsible for housekeeping issues on customer premises to present a clean and orderly work effort.

Coordinate with Manager, Human Resources where appropriate, and executive management aspects of the job site operation. Responsible for a variety of personnel actions to include, but not limited to, hiring, merit recommendations, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and dismissals.

Utilize any colleagues or other outside sources to assist in marketing efforts of the company. Be available to assist executive management in solicitation of new business with the bid process.

Perform other related duties not specifically listed, but incidental to the work described herein.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
