The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy announces an immediate opening for an enthusiastic part-time Pharmacy Technician at our long-term care store in Binghamton, NY.
Job Opening: Pharmacy Technician
Location: 1179 Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, NY
Status: Part-time
As a Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for compounding, and dispensing medical prescriptions and providing patient care. The position often also requires:
o Transcribing physicians orders/prescriptions into electronic medication profiles
o Operating and maintaining the Automated Pharmacy System and Unit-Dose Systems
o Maintaining/replenishing inventory of medications, accessories, and federally controlled drugs
o Providing Customer Service to patients and Health Care Providers
