The Emergency Department at the VA Medical Center in Lake City, FL is seeking physicians that want to serve our veterans.

o Arterial cannulation for monitoringo Bladder catheterizationo Central venous accesso Emergency cardiac pacingo Epistaxis controlo Incision and drainage of abscesso Laceration/wound management and repairo Nasogastric and or gastric intubationo Regional nerve blocko Splint/reduce fractures and dislocations Tour of Duty:

00pm (Physicians are responsible for working various tours as needed for a 40 hour work week.
The ED is a 24/7 operation and there are varying morning, afternoon, and evening shifts 7 days a week.
Shift distribution is baed on peak loads and departmental needs.

Physical requirements for this position include moderate lifting (14-44 lbs.
); light lifting (under 15 lbs.
