REGIONAL IT SERVICE MANAGER
Defense Search specializes in recruiting exclusively for the defense industry. We are currently seeking a Regional IT Service Manager for a growing Defense company.

The Regional IT Service Manager will oversee the Americas region (including; USA, Dominican Republic and Mexico). The Region IT Service Manager has all the responsibilities for the support of all Souriau sites located in the region and for the deployment of global IT solutions in those sites. Another important duty relates to the data center(s) of the region. All IT staff of the region reports to the Region Service Manager. Additional responsibilities include budget, IT assets management and compliance/security review for the region.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Member of the IT Coordination group
Represent the region business senior management to ensure strategic alignment
Communicate the group IT strategy and deploy it across the region.
Directly responsible for the support of the sites located in the region
Organize and supervise the Service Desk
Ensure the users requirements are properly met either by group solutions or by local solutions
Maintain and develop the local business solutions
Take care of the refresh of all client hardware (pc, smartphones, printers, etc)
Act as liaison with other parts of IT organization (Infrastructure, Business Solutions, other regions, etc.)
Use external partners when required (e.g. AT&T)
Measure service provided against SLA.
In charge of the deployment of business applications with region staff (key users, IT) and the support of other IT teams (Business Solutions, Solution Development)
Lead the deployment of group infrastructure solutions pushed by the Central Infrastructure team
Provide appropriate feedback and reporting to the project manager during the deployment
Integrate into the region new sites coming from acquisitions.
Provide key directions to the region IT staff
Organize the duties and the activities of the region IT staff
Develop the skillset (training, projects, experience sharing, etc)
Take care of the recruitment of additional resources
Bring continuous improvements to the processes to increase efficiency in the resources utilization
Integrate staff coming from acquisitions.
Responsible for all operations in the regions data center(s)
Availability of the services and applications hosted in the region
Backup/Restore
Disaster Recovery Plan (when agreed)
In charge of the development and the consolidation of the data center(s)
Support the network (LAN, WAN) with the appropriate partners if any
Provide feedback to the Central Infrastructure team for improvements process.

The qualified Regional IT Service Manager will possess the following:
Requires a BA or BS college degree in computer science or related field. Masters or advanced degree is preferred.
Should have a minimum of 10
years of experience in IT management in a multi-sites industry company in the same region
Previous experience with supervision, leadership, and management is required.
Experience in implementation and systems integrations, preferably within a manufacturing environment and ideally in aerospace industry
Must have strong IT management experience related to a large region and multi-sites company area operating in the industry
Must have a deep knowledge and experience in modern IT infrastructure (AD, network, virtualization, etc)
Must have a general knowledge and a significant experience in several key business application like ERP, CRM, PLM, etc
Must possess the leadership necessary to give guidance and adequate management to the IT staff spread out across several countries in the region
Must have budgetary experience for multi-sites scope
Must possess communication skills appropriate for a multi-cultural environment with an ability to explain complex technical environments to a broad audience.
Experience in system and software security requirements when working with government agencies and or regulations
Fluent in English and in French.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
