Senior SQE (Automotive Manufacturing)
Title: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Gadsden, Al
Salary: $80K-$90K before bonus

JOB
Responsibilities:
o Manage the performance of assigned Inteva suppliers to improve Key Performance Indices. Ensure that suppliers adhere to the Inteva Quality Requirements communicated through Inteva's Supplier Requirements Manual and other communications. Utilize the Inteva formal communication process with suppliers.
o Maintain supplier/component PPAP documentation for all changes post launch, including certification files.
o Facilitate structured problem solving actions to drive improvement through robust root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
o Issue and monitor problem cases and cost recoveries to suppliers to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
o Lead, with a sense of urgency, issue resolution activities related to supplier caused issues within Inteva and the supplier locations. Coordinate activities with cross functional groups to address supplier related concerns. Escalate and communicate problems appropriately.
o Monitor and maintain supplier non-conforming material process including containment, correction, and cost recoveries. Travel to supplier locations to support on site audits, reviews, and improvement activities, as required with short notice.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED/PREFERRED):
Required
o Minimum 2
years of experience in Supplier Quality.
o Quality Engineering and problem solving experience.
o Automotive plant supervision experience.
o Good working knowledge of TS16949 requirements.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills.
o Excellent computer skills. Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred
o 5
years automotive component manufacturing supply experience
o Trained TS16949 auditor
o Prior position where communication skills were demonstrated
o Prior customer relations experience
o Red X or Six Sigma Certification
Education
o College Degree or equivalent work experience
This position is open to qualified candidates who have work authorization for the listed location. All candidates must have the on-going legal right to work within the country where the position is located.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
