Porter- Swing Shift
The incumbent is responsible for performing cleaning duties, as directed by the Engineering Supervisor, throughout Boomtown New Orleans; may be assigned to rotate between any one of the following crews:
carpet, window, office, restroom maintenance and general maintenance.

Carpet Crew:
Vacuums, sweeps, shampoos and hand brushes; removes stains, gum and debris.
3.
Window Crew:
Cleans all glass and mirrors in assigned areas; cleans all slot machine signage in assigned areas; cleans all overhead brass.
4.
Office Crew:
Cleans walls, ceilings, vents, lights and fixtures in office areas; cleans glass and mirrors in office areas; cleans and polishes brass in office areas; porter pan, vacuums and spot cleans carpets; vacuums and dusts furniture; shampoos upholstered furniture; cleans ashtrays and cigarette urns in offices; removes trash from receptacles.

Rest Room Maintenance:
Cleans sinks, toilets, urinals and counters; strips and waxes hard floors; polishes mirrors, stainless steel and chrome; cleans walls, ceilings, lights, vents, doors and partitions; fills paper and soap dispensers; empties trash receptacles.
6.
General Maintenance:
Cleans walls, ceilings, lights and fixtures; cleans glass and mirrors; cleans and polishes brass; empties trash receptacles; cleans counters, tables, chairs and railings; dusts furniture; sweeps, mops, strips and waxes floors; cleans slot machine bases; cleans gaming tables; shampoos gaming tables and upholstered furniture; empties dirty linen containers.

Operates and maintains all types of cleaning equipment Job Requirements:
WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Depending on crew assignment, this position may be subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon where stationed and customer volume.
This position works with various types of chemicals; proper precautions are taken.
This position occasionally works outside and is subject to all weather conditions.
Proper clothing is provided.
Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work area.
Ability to inspect and clean areas of responsibility.
Must be able to balance, climb and crawl as position is at times required to use ladders, as well as clean ground level areas.
When assigned to kitchen crew, will be required to lift, push and pull 100 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift.
Other crew members at times will also be required to lift, push and pull 100 pounds, and will consistently lift, push and pull between 10 and 20 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift.
Must be able to transport all supplies to and from work areas.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Prior janitorial experience preferred but not required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
