A leading provider of environmental services including solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services is currently seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager in Vermont. The Fleet Maintenance Manager plans, organizes, directs, and manages the Division's maintenance function in order to maintain a safe, reliable, and cost effective fleet of vehicles and/or equipment and/or adequate supply of containers. The position will be responsible for approximately 50 trucks, 3 pieces of yellow iron and 11 reports. We need someone technically strong!
We really need a great technical expert - someone with the technical knowledge to build a proficient team. They must have a lot of drive, determination and resilience.

REQUIRED:
oEquivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and three years of heavy-duty truck, equipment and hydraulic maintenance experience; OR (2) 7 years of heavy truck, equipment and hydraulic maintenance experience.
oTwo years experience as a supervisor, manager or other leadership role
oVERY strong knowledge and experience with computer and systems usage
oA valid drivers license with a clean driving record
oWork experience in analyzing and diagnosing mechanical, electronic and hydraulic systems.
oWork experience in successfully implementing safety programs and processes
oWork experience in managing budgets, creating cost projections, prioritizing competing requirements.
oASE, EETC certifications
PREFERRED:
oWaste industry experience strongly preferred!
oValid commercial driver license
Compensation:
o$75-85k/year base salary
potential 10% bonus (DOE)
