Publicly held global company requires an administrator to manage and support their Salesforce application. Administration work includes release management, user set up and support, salesforce.com & force.com configuration changes and quality assurance testing when applicable. The administrator will work closely with our Salesforce Architect and business partners during design sessions and product demos.
The candidate must have the ability to communicate with a diverse set of business users in a global organization. The candidate must have experience in configuration and administering systems used in middle and front office operations, have strong skills and experience with Salesforce.com, and be customer service oriented.
Responsibilities:
Manage Salesforce.com CRM application. Responsible for maintaining the functional areas of data management, account and contact management, opportunities, case management, dashboards and reports etc.
Implement new enhancements related to basic Salesforce.com configuration, including creation of custom fields, workflows, approval processes, email alerts and templates.
Develop and maintain VisualForce, AppExchange apps, Force.com pages and integration to other third party solutions.
Maintain multiple user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, etc. Support train new end users on the salesforce.com application.
Prepare regression testing scripts, test data, and testing scenarios in a systems integrated environment.
Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM.
Identify SFDC usage problems and craft technical / communication plans to IT/business teams.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree required
Salesforce.com Certification is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 3
years of relevant experience with technical implementations of CRM projects, required.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience functioning as a Salesforce.com administrator for Enterprise edition or higher.
Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to successfully manage complex business issues
Proven ability to independently perform administration, testing, implementation, documentation and updating as it relates to the SalesForce.com software and system administration.
Working knowledge of basic Salesforce.com configuration including creation of standard and custom objects and fields etc.
Good understanding of data structures, data modeling, and database schema is required.
Experience with loading bulk data sets using Apex Data Loader and/or other Enterprise ETL tools.
Experience in deploying configuration and code from lower sandboxes to production environment
Address issues related to functionality, integration, data management etc.
Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum is preferred
