A family owned and operated amusement park is looking for a full/part time mechanic.
Key Duties:
The ride mechanic will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish amusement rides. The employee must ensure all rides comply with equipment manufacturers operating standards and requirements. The ride mechanic will perform visual and auditory inspections of rides and maintain proper records for all inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
Requirements:
This position requires a background in machine repair, including the ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and electro-mechanical systems. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and safety sensitivity. Machining and the understanding of electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, control systems, and knowledge of PLCs are beneficial.
The ride mechanic must have the ability to:
- Perform heavy lifting
- Work in all weather conditions and heights
- Work varied shifts and schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work as a team and take directionsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
