Community Coordinators

PAX Community Coordinators are independent contractors who represent the PAX program in their local communities. Working directly with the Regional Director or Area Manager. The Community Coordinator facilitates the placement of 3 or more exchange students by recruiting, screening, and vetting host families., partnering with area high schools to secure enrollments for the students and supporting the students and their hosted during their year together.

What is the Coordinator responsible for:
- Administer the PAX program locally in full compliance with State Department regulations and CSIET standards
- Find and vet families interested in hosting
- Secure high school enrollments for exchange students
- Support student, families, and schools throughout the school year
- Act as the student's advocate during the program year
- Represent PAX study & travel abroad opportunities to local American students
- Maintain regular contact with their Regional Director/Area Manager, local families, students and schools

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
