DIRECTOR, SUPPLY CHAIN-PROCUREMENT

Summary:
This role will be responsible for leading and directing the Supply Chain (Procurement) organization in all day to day operations and in implementing and executing on long term initiatives to further the organization's cost saving and vendor value add functions. This role will implement standards, process, reporting, strategic sourcing, category management, and cost reduction within the company. This role will ensure internal customers, capital projects, and the interests of the company as well supported with superior processes, programs and relevant market intelligence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
Organizational Efficiency. Define and standardize the global purchasing organization.
Departmental Leadership. Develop and implement sourcing strategies, category management standards, process improvement and furthering the development of a high performing team.
Process Improvements. Develop process improvements for the internal supply chain organization including better utilization of systems.
Supplier Performance. Monitor and measure supplier performance, improve procurement strategies and implement data analytics. Negotiate cost reductions, promote value-added programs, develop agreements and initiate and monitor Key Performance Indicators for the function. Manage the global approved vendor list including the development of shared objectives.
Supplier Agreements. Initiate agreements for key categories and commodities and manage/compile scoping process, submission evaluation, cost negotiations and bid awards.
Supplier Evaluation. Evaluate the capabilities of current and proposed suppliers in conjunction with key business stakeholders with the responsibility of approving or rejecting for use. Identify and develop potential new suppliers that would strategically benefit the organization.
Spend Analysis. Manage organizational spend analysis to extract saving across the organization, take advantage of organizational symmetries and bring supplier value metrics to the business.
Strategic Alignment. Alignment of Supply Chain / Procurement annual objectives to improve the global business as a whole.
And other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree required preferably in Supply Chain Management or related field.
Experience: 15
years of experience in a supply chain/purchasing role with a focus on global supplier contracts.
Industry
Experience: Oil & Gas
Proven experience with bid processes, supplier quality systems, metrics, process improvements functional leadership.
Travel Requirements: 25%

Certificates & Licenses:
Certified Purchasing Management (CPM) Certification is preferred.

Experience leading & managing a high performing team.
Excellent communications skills.
The ability to manage multiple tasks at once and be flexible and adaptable to changes in priority.

Physical & Safety Requirements:
Normal office environment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
