Career Transitions, LLC is working with a client in Bristol, IN who is seeking a CNC Tech/Programmer. The client is the industry's largest single integrated resource for their market.
Must have full understanding of blue prints and programming. Also responsible for calculating feeds and speeds of tooling. Will lead and give direction to CNC Machinist and Operators on daily tasks.
Responsibilities:
Programming
Full understanding of blue prints including by not limited to trigging of compound angles, GDT, etc.
Traveling to customers for meetings on developing and processing of jobs
Aid in the technical support and training of the CNC Operators and Machinists
Set up and Operate CNC Machines in sequence of operations, positions stock in fixture according to instructions, runs and quality checks own parts
Perform tooling set-up based on programs and or blueprints
Verify conformance of machined and/or assembled parts to specifications
Purchase own tools necessary to effectively set up and run CNC Machines
Work and participate in team functions as in CIT Teams, SPC Training, etc
Works to continuously improve safety by minimizing or eliminating workplace hazards and injuries
Performs housekeeping duties to keep workstations and machine area clean and safeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
