Programmer/Analyst Job Position
Seeking qualified candidates for a Programmer/Analyst permanent job position that includes performing software analysis and development as part of a team that supports various computer systems, including a web-based e-commerce system and a JD Edwards ERP system that runs on an IBM iSystem. Client is a global IS services company and manufacturer in the greater Goshen, Indiana, area.
Job
Responsibilities:
Support and development of web-based, e-commerce applications running on Windows Servers. This includes support of existing purchased software and custom software development.
Development of custom reports using various development tools.
Support and development of the JD Edwards ERP system on an IBM iSystem.
Work with users and software vendors to resolve software problems.
Provide application support to users as needed.
Work as part of a support and development team with others in the IT department.
Communicate effectively with others in IT and with the end users to clearly understand the business requirements and the appropriate solutions.
Assist as needed with computer operations and hardware support.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Systems.
Work Experience
Should have experience in developing and supporting web based applications, SQL databases, Java programs, XML files, and related technologies.
Previous programming experience in an IBM i-environment is a positive.
Position requires an individual with a proven record of learning, developing, and successfully applying software in a business environment.
Must be a reliable problem solver able to identify and resolve technical issues appropriately.
Must be a self-starter capable of learning new technologies with a minimum of assistance.
Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
This position will require extensive in-house training to become familiar with our systems.
Education Requirements:
Requires a four-year degree in a computer science/information technology curriculum or comparable job experience. A minimum of three years programming experience in a business environment is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
