THIS IS A PAID POSITION!
The Clinical Specialist is responsible for the overall implementation of the individual treatment plan for our clients in a group home setting in accordance with Volunteers of America policies and procedures, program models, funding source standards, and best practices.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
The position requires a Master's Degree in a related field and two years relevant experience in clinical treatment program. New Jersey professional clinical license (LCSW, LPC) is required.
PRINCIPAL
Responsibilities:
1. Lead client treatment and individual service plans from intake through discharge in accordance with the program regulations
2. Provide individual and group therapy or self government meetings.
3. Schedule and lead treatment team meetings.
4. Participate and assist in the development of staff training.
5. Maintain positive community relations and participate in necessary provider meetings.
6. Collect and evaluate program data.
7. Ensure that all programs meet funder, Volunteers of America program and accreditation standards.
8. Provide on call crisis intervention support.
9. Perform other related tasks as assigned.

1. Service recipients achieve treatment, behavioral and wellness and recovery goals.
2. Staff is well trained, professional, and ethical.
3. Service recipients participate in community life.
4. Program data is complete and accurate.
5. The facilities provide a healthy and safe environment for service recipients and staff.
6. All standards are met.
7. Service recipients and staff are provided clinical support.
