Philadelphia Macaroni Company is looking for a Mechanic who is eager to join a company that they want to grow with! This position is located in our Warminster, PA manufacturing facility.
Summary
Ensures the continued maintenance and proper operation of all equipment within the facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Monitors and maintains smooth plant operation, including production and packaging processes, support systems and facilities.
2. With little or no supervision, disassembles / assembles, repairs, constructs, overhauls, maintains and installs all types of new and existing processing and packaging equipment and conveying, hydraulic and air systems as required.
3. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
4. Responds to calls for service to any line in a timely manner.
5. Independently troubleshoots equipment that is in need of repair or that is operating at a substandard level.
6. Makes repairs and adjustments in a timely fashion to ensure as little downtime as possible.
7. Works in cooperation with engineering, technical and production supervisors or outside contractors as directed.
8. Forms, fabricates, and assembles components for repairs and/or modifications to existing equipment as well as experimental projects.
9. Assists other maintenance personnel as needed.
10. Addresses building maintenance issues as required.
11. Cleans all machinery, equipment and tools as required.
12. Keeps work areas and maintenance shop neat and orderly.
13. Complies with all safety and GMP requirements.
14. Completes required and appropriate paperwork.
15. Performs other tasks as directed.

Education
High School Degree, 2 year trade tech or equivalent desired, or equivalent work experience.
2 years experience in factory maintenance preferred.
Skills
Must have factory experience and possess good trouble shooting abilities as well as knowledge of processing operations. The ability to communicate effectively with management and fellow employees. Knowledge of basic shop tool usage, knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and trouble shooting, as well as the ability to read blueprints.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts and draw valid conclusions
Language Skills
Ability to read, write and interpret documents, to speak with vendors in a professional manner, and the ability to communicate effectively with management and fellow employees.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Required to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, with a maximum distance required to carry 50 pounds of 100 feet at least 75% of the time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach with hands and arms and walk up to 1/3 of the time; Sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel 2/3 of the time; talk or hear 1/2 the time.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Have the ability to perform all above tasks in an environment of 90 degrees F or greater up to 50% of the time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
