UTAS- Cloud Cap Technology in Hood River, Oregon is looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Design Engineer to be a key member of a development team working on new product development, system integration, customer support and existing product maintenance.
The primary role of this position will be the development and maintenance of embedded microprocessor software applications used to capture, control, process and output video data from our TASE line of gimbals.
Responsibilities of the position include both application development aimed at end user requirements and embedded software definition and design to support product specifications.
Lead development of video processing applications on both Windows and Linux environments.
The position requires participation in project planning, selection of target processor hardware and development tools, system architecture design, development of source code, test and debug of during system integration, and software documentation and support as part of product release.
The position will require heavy collaboration with hardware and other software design engineers.
Business Unit: UTC Aerospace SystemsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
