As a Next Generation Data Centre (NGDC) Business Technology Consultant at Dimension Data, you will collaborate with the relevant internal stakeholders and participate in discovery sessions with clients to understand their needs and develop and implement solutions that will help them to transform their business. In addition to this you will create integrated solutions and collaborate with the architectural consulting function in architecting client solutions.

Major Duties &
Responsibilities:
You will be the subject matter expert in NGDC associated with architectures and other technology services such as ITO, Cloud, Consulting, and Converged Infrastructure and in this capacity you will be required to deliver on the following:
Work closely with the sales team to participate in and proactively drive the presales process with clients. This may include conducting meetings, writing proposals and delivering presentations.
Create strategies and plans that define how existing and emerging technology should be utilized to support an organization's overall business strategy
Facilitate and lead client workshops with Executive level participants
Use excellent client engagement skills to ensure the identification and analysis of client problems and opportunities for improvement
Provide the end to end solution set to enable the client's business transformation
Take responsibility for the visionary integration of the solution by orchestrating the internal co-ordination of the solution implementation
Attend technical conferences to ensure that they remain abreast of developments in their area of expertise and related disciplines
Continuously search for opportunities to innovate solutions for the client thereby improving client's business and ensuring business development for Dimension Data
Qualifications:

Education/Qualifications Required
Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in Technology and/or Business Management
Work Experience Required
At least 12
years of experience in a consulting and senior IT role within a large scale (preferably multi- national) technology services environment
Well versed in ITO, Cloud Consulting and Converged Infrastructure
Deep domain expertise and consulting and client engagement experience coupled with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management
Proven experience in integrating the solutions for particular projects with the business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns, and best practices
Business development experience
Skills and Core Competencies
A good understanding of the vast range of IT operations and DD service offerings
Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
A strong business orientation and with a supporting strategic thinking ability
Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business
Ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to challenges and problems, including continuous improvement initiatives
Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to ask the right questions to uncover the core of the problem
The ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the solution leads to business transformation
Formidable consulting skills and the ability to recognize opportunities for future business within an account
Assertive in approach coupled with confidence in area of expertise
