This position is responsible for performing a variety of routine and complex transportation duties in driving, towing and coordinating transportation activities in support of the Store and the whole of Titan Machinery. Incumbent must obtain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Federal, State and Local regulations and laws pertaining to the operation and maintaining of applicable transportation trucks and trailers, be able to operate the products being transported so they can be safely loaded, unloaded and towed, maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all Titan, Local, State and Federal rules and regulations, ensure that loads and towing units are properly permitted according to specific regulations, and responsible for safety with regards to the loading, unloading, hauling and towing of products.
Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
Complete daily walk around inspections and submit daily
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned and secured according to regulations
Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes
Obtain oversize and weight permits
Coordinate Pilot vehicle needs
Maintain driver logs according to all applicable Federal, State, Local and Titan regulations and procedures
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles promptly
Secure cargo for transport or towing with applicable restraints including appropriate blocks, chains, binders, or straps where applicable. This includes covering of windows, exhaust, intake and other items as product configurations dictates
Stop at all weigh stations along routes to comply with Federal, State and Local regulations
Drive trucks with capacities greater than 26,000 GVRW, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport, or tow and deliver products, or other materials
Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required
Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions; note any discrepancies and notify supervisor
Comply with all road signs and operate vehicles within their limits and weather environment
Other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or GED
Class A Commercial Driver's License
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical certification
1 or more years of related work experience
Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times
Must comply with all federal and state applicable regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to provide quality work and think logically
Demonstrated strong organization, decision making, and problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines efficiently and cost effectively
Ability to make overnight runs as required
Keen attention to detail and a high level of initiative and ability to work independently
Safety-minded work habits
Clean driving record
Must be able to regularly and reliably attend work, according to the schedule established at store management discretion.
Physical Requirements
Very Heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
