We are currently seeking a talented individual to become an Executive Host. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Knowledge of and enforcement of gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Player Development Department.
Greets guests actively engaged in gaming and assists Pit and Slot cast members in player identification.
Provides guests with hospitality arrangements, including rooms, food, beverages, and assists with special requests.
Is knowledgeable of casino marketing and player development promotions and encourages guest participation.
Is knowledgeable of credit procedures and encourages the use of credit when appropriate.
Follow-up with guests after departure and maintain contact to ensure return trips through correspondence and telemarketing.
Assists in resolving guest complaints and disputes.
Assists in training Hosts.
Provides weekly production reports pertaining to player development and incoming guest rosters.
Coordinates and analyzes in-house invitation lists with the Player Development Manager.
Attends and aids in the coordination of special events.
Supports and promotes the philosophy and objectives of the Casino.
Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members.
Any and all duties as assigned by Director of Player Development or a member of management.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Must be 21 years of age or older and have large patron following. Minimum 3 years casino host or casino operations experience necessary. Must be able to resolve customer complaints and satisfy hospitality requirements while adhering to company policies. Must have ability to develop customer loyalty.
Two year college degree or equivalent work experience; three years Host or Casino experience necessary.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of player tracking software; spreadsheet software and word processing software.
Must be able to obtain a Gaming License. Must successfully complete C.A.R.E. training certification course.
Must have excellent customer service and networking skills. Must have knowledge of player tracking systems, production reports, queries, and event organization. Must be adept with both table and slot play.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The cast member is occasionally required to sit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
