POSITION SUMMARY
Performs the primary functions of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients on the unit during his/her shift. Accepts the responsibility in the direction of co-workers in management of hospital resources (personnel, supplies, and equipment). Cross trained staff may be required to work other nursing units as staffing and patient census indicates. Registered nurses will complete during orientation the nursing competencies developed for the nursing department and the individual units.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Active/Unrestricted RN licensure in the State of Kentuckyrequired
2. In field substance abuse and/or mental health experience preferred
3. CPR Certification preferred (Offered upon employment if not up-to-date)
