Experience:Must have minimum of three years of experience in a Human Resources position. The position requires General knowledge of employment laws, experience in the administration of workers compensation, recruitment, performance management, project management, unemployment insurance and excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, effective oral and written communication and the ability to multitask and practice a high level of confidentiality.
Physical:Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish temperatures by proximity. Operates computer, office copier, calculator, paper cutter/shredder, and presentation equipment. Continuous sitting, frequent standing and walking. Lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 30 lbs.

Summary:This position requires a well-rounded knowledge of all Human Resources functions. It is responsible for providing advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. Responsible for selecting and recruiting personnel who have the necessary educational background, skills and customer service to enable them to represent St. Bernards in a manner that supports the mission and vision of the Medical Center. Assist with regularly scheduled employee orientation. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. This position is required to utilize independent judgment.
