TOOLING ENGINEER
This opening is due to expansion at our Fond du Lac area client.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, troubleshoot, improve processes, solve tooling issues, and manage programs.
Create process documentation.
Design, install and debug tooling and capital equipment.
Obtain tooling quotes and coordinate sourcing.
Provide engineering resources for other departments as required.
Work closely with product and process teams to design, install, and launch processes.
Ensure manufacturability of components prior to production release.
Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering or related field or eight years of equivalent experience.
CAD experience required.
Journeyman Tool and Die experience preferred but not required.
Design experience and knowledge of design applications such as stamping and molding.
$70/k +/- depending on experience
This is a contract to direct position. Can consider direct for the right candidate.
