This potential opportunity will provide numerous IT/IA (IAT-II) Instructors for up to six (6) years teaching at USN C schools at his/her assigned Center for Information Dominance (CID) facility (Pensacola, FL or Groton, CT). Functional responsibilities of the IAT Level II Instructor will be to:
- Provide classroom instruction to teach the students in the manner described in the course textbooks and materials;
- Conduct practical exercises in a classroom / laboratory environment;
- Provide supervision of student study hall periods and provide tutoring/remedial instruction (mentoring) outside the eight (8) hour contact duty day in accordance with the Director of Training mandated schedule for Mandatory study hall;
- Adapt instructional methods based on analysis of individual student and group needs;
- Use role-playing techniques and performance-based exercises to reinforce learning objectives.
The IAT-II instructor will train C-School students to perform tasks at the Information Assurance Technical Level-II (IAT-II) journeyman level using MOAC and Security
curriculum to achieve professional certifications as MCP in Windows 7 Configuration (70-680 exam); Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration (70-640 exam); Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure (70-642 exam); Windows Server 2008 Administrator (70-646 exam); Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Configuration (objectives tied to 70-236 exam); and Cisco Networking IT Essentials for CompTIA A
220-801 and 220-802 exams (A
Essentials and A
Practical Application); Cisco Introduction to Networks (Cisco Certified Network Associate-1); Routing and Switching Essentials (Cisco Certified Network Associate-2) and Security
as mandated by DoD Instruction 8570.01-M. In addition, instructors must have completed Cisco Networking Academy instructor training for CCNA-2 (Routing and Switching Essentials) at a certified Cisco Regional Academy.
These positions are contingent upon a government contract award.
Minimum IAT Level II current certifications as follows:
- CompTIA Security
Certified Professional (SYO-401);
- CCNA-2 (Routing and Switching Essentials) instructor-level training at Cisco Regional Networking Academy;
- Windows Server 2008 Administrator (Exam 70-646);
- Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure (Exam 70-642);
- Implementing and Managing Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Configuration (objectives tied to Exam 70-236);
- Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Infrastructure (Exam 70-640).
Note: Instructor must be a Certified Professional in CompTIA A+, complete the CCNA-1(Introduction to Networks) and CCNA-2 (Routing and Switching Essentials) courses, and complete Cisco Continuing Education Units aligned to CCENT certification.
Desired current certifications as follows:

Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer
(CTT+) or Certified USN Instructor (NEC-9502)/or other Service equivalent or designated Navy Master Training Specialist or other Service equivalent;

Microsoft Certified Professional in each topic/exam for which they are teaching;

CCNA Instructor Orientation, Information Technology Essentials (ITE) Instructor Orientation, Instructor Version CCNA-1 (Introduction to Networks), Instructor Version CCNA-2 (Routing and Switching Essentials);

Cisco ITE instructor-level training at Cisco Regional Networking Academy;

Cisco Certified Instructor.

Active Secret clearance

Degree in Computer Science, Business, Technology or related field
The qualified candidate's resume should demonstrate the following:
- Two (2) years teaching IT-related topics within the last four (4) years;
- Operational experience in Information Assurance disciplines contained in DoD Instruction 8570.01-M;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to attain a SECRET Collateral Level clearance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
