We are currently seeking an Temporary Associate Allocator to join our Supply Chain organization. If you are the successful candidate, you will be responsible for assigned product categories across retail stores and warehouse network, including direct store delivery vendors. You will provide analysis and insight in the development of seasonal allocations and exit strategies, while ensuring exceptional customer service and enhancing brand equity through maintaining In Stock performance goals. Effectively manages SKU/Store Inventory Fit up and exit strategies through systematic application of replenishment and allocation techniques adhering to all established standards and processes.
Responsible for a collection of items within an assigned product category. Ensures exceptional customer service and enhances brand equity through maintaining In Stock performance goal. Effectively manages SKU/Store Inventory Fit up and exit strategies through systematic application of replenishment and allocation techniques adhering to all established standards and processes.
Pre-season, set up all sku/store records to ensure sales, service and turn goals are met.
In season, monitor and react to business by managing replenishment and allocations effectiveness. Adjust to ensure sales and turn goals are met.
Manage replenishment and allocations effectiveness during exit period and adjust sku/store parameters to ensure inventory quantities align with end of exposure thresholds.
Adhere to floor set calendar and planning sequence, build floor set estimate and order for new to floorset SKUs.
Adhere to new store calendar and planning sequence and observe key ordering dates.
Build new store fitup orders.
Support promotions and events using planned inventory builds that support projected sales lift
On a weekly basis, monitor reports to ensure work is driving toward zero exceptions and meeting or exceeding established goals.
Work collaboratively with Retail Planners, Buyers and Merchandisers to identify and resolve any in stock concerns.
Health and Safety Requirement: Ensures compliance with the L.L.Bean comprehensive Health and Safety program by knowing and following all safety guidelines, policies, procedures and expectations. Takes immediate and appropriate action to rectify any unsafe conditions.
BA/BS or equivalent preferred
1 to 2 years relevant experience
Strong quantitative analysis skills; logic; problem-solving
Clearly understand financial measurements; impacts and effects
Facility with personal computers including the ability to master technical applications
Excel experience essential
Collaborative and results-oriented
Written and verbal communication skills required
Ablity to manage/prioritize department's workload
Retail experience helpful
