TASC is seeking a Network Engineer to be part of TASC's, Space Systems Sector , Communications Division. The dedicated professionals at supporting this division develop a variety of national security solutions for U.S. Intelligence Community customers. We provide mission-focused end-to-end systems engineering and analytic expertise to enhance operationally deployed systems, guide the acquisition of complex systems under development and architect systems and technologies of the future. We offer customer-specific solutions that respond quickly and effectively to our customers' needs by equipping our mission and technology experts with our systems engineering disciplines and modern laboratories. This approach yields outstanding program execution, which translates directly into mission success. Candidate shall specifically:
Coordinate with other engineering support staff, commercial communication vendors, testing and operations personnel to ensure all customer requirements are met.
Ensure all engineered installation designs meet the guidelines of best practices, security requirements and the intent of the requirement
Participate in customer planning, technical exchange and coordination meetings, as well as Engineering Review Boards at the local and headquarters level
Conduct site surveys, develop site designs, CONOPs, test and implementation plans, to include providing requirement analysis from the customer's request for change and translating those requirements into circuit designs, drawings, material lists, labor and hardware cost estimates, and implementation schedules, all in compliance with customer network standards
Participate in and provide site specific information for the project readiness review cycle, develop and conduct design reviews, and provide implementation coordination with affected O&M; sites
Have interface design responsibility for requirements from the customer wide area network to the local site interface
Basic requirements:
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is highly recommended but not mandatory.
Candidate should have 9 years industry experience.
Network industry certifications are also a plus.
Other requirements: The successful candidate should have exemplary organizational and communication skills, and be able to manage a number of projects at one time. The candidate must have a working knowledge of the following:
IP and Serial networks
Network Hardware (routers, switches, cryptographic equipment)
Cable/Transport technologies (fiber, copper)
Understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, TDM, Network Timing Systems, Ethernet, TCP/IP
Understanding WAN technology
Preferred candidate would have a working knowledge of the customer's greater organizational environment, mission, and terrestrial network communications infrastructure and configuration management/requirements process.
Candidate must be familiar with and able to work within an environment using standard Systems Engineering principles.
Securitiy Pre-requisite - Must have and maintain an ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI clearance and have the ability to successfully obtain a polygraphEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
