Responsibilities
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
:
Product Manager III will be responsible for maintaining and growing profitability across the Retail Consumer Deposit products and services. By monitoring and analyzing the behaviors and trends across the various products and services within the group, the successful candidate will work with product managers within the group to provide analytical decision support to develop and direct the overall strategy to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:
1. Responsible for the overall profitability across the Retail Consumer Deposit products and services
2. Responsible for understanding at a detailed level the operations and processes associated with the assigned products
3. Provide analytical decision support for Consumer Deposit Products unit
4. Collect, monitor and analyze financial and other related data to assess product performance and provide recommendations for enhancements (revenue, expense)
5. Provide modeling support for assigned products
6. Provide general forecasting support for assigned products
7. Generate and manage reporting (monthly and ad-hoc) on financial performance for assigned products
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
:
(1) Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field, database marketing, or a quantitative field such as statistics
(2) A minimum of three (3) years of work experience demonstrating the following skills and abilities:
High proficiency in performing data and operational analysis
Strong ability to write queries, pull, summarize and analyze data using SAS or Microsoft Access
Knowledge of consumer banking products and processes
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Strong ability to analyze data, build models, interpret results and create summary reports in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team
