Responsibilities:
Prepare all applicable monthly journal entries for assigned operating company;
Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements for assigned operating company;
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities;
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures;
Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met for internal management;
Report financial information to the bank in a timely manner, prepare Sales and Use Tax Filings, and prepare quarterly Payroll tax filings according to external deadlines;
Prepare monthly account reconciliations for applicable accounts;
Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses;
Track fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules;
Maintain strong system of internal controls;
Develop and maintain strong relationships with other departments within the Company;
Maintain all relevant agreements, contracts, notices, etc.;
Assist with preparation of year-end audit work papers and responses to audit inquiries;
Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA ExamEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
