Electrical Project Manager/Estimator (Omaha, NE)

Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Omaha, Nebraska office.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years of experience with a combination of managing and estimating electrical construction projects
Experience in managing and estimating high voltage, powerline projects
Understands all aspects of project management, including take-offs, scheduling, change orders & billings, and close-outs
P&L understanding, and experience with forecasting
Understands all aspects of estimating, including take-offs, unit pricing, buy-outs, and preparing scopes and bids
Must possess ability to negotiate contracts as needed
Must have business development skills
Must understand and follow specifications, blueprints, ASIs and RFIs
Must understand and follow safety rules & procedures & follow OSHA requirements
Must have good understanding of National Electrical Codes
Must ensure that projects are completed within prescribed budget
Works with supervisors, trade contractors, suppliers to manage schedules, project progress, drawing requirements and material delivery
Must have leadership skills & be able to manage teams
Oversees, delegates and monitors personnel on assigned projects
Proficient on computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Working knowledge of estimating software, such as Accubid
Interacts effectively to facilitate job progress
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
Skilled in prioritizing, organization and time management
Ensure that company procedures and processes are followed
Must have a collaborative spirit, be a team player, innovative, adaptable, and willing to learn
Stable job history is a must
EDUCATION:
College degree is a plus
