We currently have a contract opportunity for a Financial Planner & Counselor to apply exceptional customer service skills in educating and providing objective financial planning guidance to clients, primarily via phone in a call center environment.
In this position, the successful candidate will gain extensive training with the latest technology and will become a member of a growing team that provides this service to many organizations and employees. Responsibilities
Primarily via phone in a call center environment, provide financial counseling on a number of topics including retirement planning, education funding, benefit plans, and tax planning, and build relationships with clients without selling products.
Requirements
To qualify, candidates must have:
a bachelor's degree (concentration in accounting, finance, economics or a related field preferred)
excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
strong customer service skills
high written and verbal communication proficiency
a commitment to learning in a tax and financial planning technology environment
proficiency in technology applications
Series 65 (or the ability to obtain it within a reasonably mandated period of time)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
