Logistics Associate - Watertown, SD

Follows the established sorting and stocking guidelines and completes
freight processes during the designated time. Ensures freight sorting
area is organized and setup in accordance with guidelines. Maintains
the backroom to match the approved "blue print". Unload and check in
freight as directed.
Scans, investigates and fills inventory lows and retail outs daily.
Investigates and corrects negative on-hands and missed system outs
as required. Ensure returned merchandise is restocked to the
correct location and that all damaged or defective merchandise is
labeled and placed in the appropriate area at the end of each shift.
Assists customer when sales associates are not available to ensure a
positive customer experience.
Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and practices;
and supports company loss prevention efforts.
Performs daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance duties, such as
sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting as required.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Manager on duty.
Level of Formal Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Years of Experience: No previous experience required
Type of Experience: Previous retail inventory and/or
sales/customer service experience is
considered an asset
Language Skills: Must possess good interpersonal and
communication skills, which are necessary
to establish a selling relationship
with customers and other employees.
Skills and Ability: Must be able to read, count and write to
accurately complete documentation, utilize
training tools and process inventory.
Information Systems:
(People Soft, etc.) Must possess ability to work with computers
to process information/inventory through
computer systems.
Personal Attributes: Must like to interact with people.
The Logistics Associate ensures freight is processed efficiently to
maximize product service levels and is responsible for providing an
exceptional in-store customer service experience by assisting
customers, as needed. Following the established sorting and
stocking guidelines, the Logistics Associate must complete the
freight process within the designated time, and ensure the freight
sorting area is organized and matches the approved "blue print".
The Logistics Associate is required, at times, to assist customers,
utilizing the proven Office Depot Selling Program, if sales
associates are not available. The Logistics Associate is also
responsible for additional merchandising tasks, as directed by the
Manager on duty.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
