Fabrication Technician needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Minnetonka, MN.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting
- Assembling basic electrical circuits
- Read and interpret drawings and blueprints
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lay out and assembles parts, subassemblies or machines within the complete range of machines manufactured with the aid of diagrams, blueprints, schematic sketches, prototypes, Bill of Materials or detailed verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
- Lay out and assembles basic electrical circuits and assemblies.
- Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Procure parts from the stockroom, detecting and correcting defects in the Bills of Materials, in conjunction with the Facilitators, Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer and Planner.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, diagrams and schematics
- Lay out and assemble machines based on drawings and detailed verbal instruction.
- Read shop orders and Bills of Materials
- Keep accurate records of the time spent on jobs and explains any discrepancies/problems as necessary.
- Follow Safe Work Practices and all environmental, health and safety rules.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisor or facilitator.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- High School Diploma/GED
- One to two (1-2) plus years of experience/technical training in the electrical field with panel building and electrical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Healthcare industry experience

Qualifications:
- Understands Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
