A growing food company located in Ephrata, Washington is currently searching for a Production Manager. The Production Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating operations personnel and processes to attain plant production requirements at budgeted cost while adhering to all quality and safety measures. The successful candidate will assist with planning and execution of operational budgets and will manage production, striving to minimize downtime; providing a safe working environment; and a safe finished product that meets government and environmental criteria. The focus will be on continued improvement of the plant in areas such as teamwork, employee involvement, and process ownership.
This person will support continuous improvement activities through the participation in development of action plans, problem solving, engineering and/or equipment changes, safety, quality and cost improvements, lean manufacturing, KT project management, SPC improvements, bench marking, and open innovation with other manufacturers.
This person reports to the Plant Manager and will be groomed to become the next Plant Manager within 2-3 years
In return, the company offers a good starting salary, bonus, benefits and relocation if needed.
Salary range for this position is $100-110k plus bonus

Qualifications & Requirements:
-Bachelor of Science required and an MBA is preferred
-5-10 years manufacturing production management (can be any manufacturing)
-Knowledge of manufacturing processes
-Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, TPM preferred
-This person needs to be a go getter and willing to put in the work to advance forward
-Good career stability, 3 years average per jobEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
